Enjoy A Rewarding Career As A Physical Therapy Assistant

In the accelerated and interactive Associate in Science in Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program, you will receive the training needed to work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in the rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal and/or neuromuscular deficits, diseases, or disorders.

People see Physical Therapists to help them resolve issues related to muscles, pain, or disorders. Your work under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist will help patients resolve these issues. As a PTA, your role is critical to the implementation of the Physical Therapy plan developed by the Licensed Physical Therapist.

You’ve chosen a much-needed career! The demand for physical therapy assistants is projected to grow 31% from 2016 to 2026, much faster than the average for all occupations, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
